Professionally Designed Life Safety Systems
In the unfortunate event of a fire, a professionally designed fire alarm system serves as a critical part of a building’s life safety strategy. GSMG’s fire protection engineers work with building owners, developers and government officials, to deliver well-conceived, code-compliant fire alarm systems including early detection and audible occupant notification. GSMG professionally designed systems also interface with other building fire safety features to provide early detection.
Fire Code Compliance
The GSMG fire team successfully delivers code compliant designs by working closely with clients, construction managers, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs). Using a team approach, we’re able to solve technical and administrative challenges while accommodating budget and schedule constraints.
Our life safety engineers draw on their in-depth knowledge of fire alarm system technology, interfaced building fire safety systems and equipment, and construction-related issues to assess, plan, design, and commission complex fire alarm system projects. GSMG’s fire design experts are current with all International Code Council and National Fire Protection Association codes and standards development process, allowing us to stay ahead of code changes and provide a deeper understanding of regulatory history and intent.
